The owners of this charming 40s-era residence sought to enlarge, re-proportion and update the living spaces while retaining the original English Country-style architectural character.

Reclaimed antique heart pine floors, inset cabinetry with hand-painted finishes and oil-rubbed bronze hardware were melded with rich colors and textures to lend warmth and bring the kitchen, dining area and family room together under a coffered ceiling.
